Hannah’s Home is a home for pregnant, homeless, teenage girls in Chilca, Lima, Peru. Its mission is to rescue the unwanted babies by caring for their mothers. It is not uncommon for these girls to give birth and then terminate the baby’s life in horrific, unspeakable ways. The best way to save these babies is to care for, mentor and teach the young mothers, some as young as 10-years-old. The girls will be taught skills to help them better cope with life outside the walls of Hannah’s Home. Ladies from Shalom Community Church in Villa el Salvador will serve as mentors for the participants and a Tutor will be on-hand to keep them up-to-date with their school studies. It is very important for ChildReach to partner with a local church and we are very honored to be partners with Pastor Moses and the good people of Shalom.
